Chris at Grateful Threads made custom leather cushions for our built-in benches and absolutely nailed it. He walked me through the whole process, gave honest guidance on the leather choice, and the craftsmanship is top-notch, clean, tailored, and built to last. Fair price and fast turnaround on top of it. Highly recommend.

Chris is the man! I have a motorcycle which for most folks, they can ride comfortably and put both feet on the ground while at a stoplight. Not me, I am "cursed?" with rugby/hockey thighs and that alone makes for my legs spreading more than usual on a motorcycle seat. Chris was able to reupholster my seat with a non slip weather proof fabric, new red thread versus the stock white, as well as "shave" the height towards the front, as you can see in the pictures. However, he did NOT sacrifice on comfort. Not only did he shave it down almost a whole inch (mostly from the sides' profile thickness,) he junked the stock padding and used a gel padding. I have ridden for up to 3 hours at a stretch on the highway (where I eventually had to stop to get gas,) without any discomfort. If you need your seat modified, Chris at Grateful Threads is the place to go. Quality, communication, service and end result was top notch.

Chris was awesome! He did some seats for a boat I’m building and was super helpful talking through my plan and made some recommendations based on his experience that I’m glad we altered. The work was amazing and we ended up just chatting for a few hours dropping them off and picking them up. Definitely recommend reaching out to him.

Chris did great work. I had large tears in tough areas all across my seat, and was worried it couldn’t be saved since I had a one-off aftermarket seat. I'm very particular about my cars, typically doing all the work myself, but I couldn’t be happier with the result. Chris handled it with ease and turned a headache into a quick, easy fix. I’ll be going to him for all my upholstery needs. Don’t look elsewhere and go with Chris. Reliable work, great quality, and fair prices.

Chris did a great job on my party bus seating. Walked through my vision and he took it from there. I’ve shown it to numerous people and their first reaction is how nice and luxurious the seating looks. Wouldn’t hesitate to comeback again and highly recommend to others.
